Environmental Pollution: Effects on Human Health, Animals, Economy & Global Warming

1. Effects on Human Health

4. Effects on Visibility and Sunlight
Air pollution containing fog, smoke, dust and fine particles can reduce visibility.
Reduced sunlight can also influence natural processes such as photosynthesis. Atmospheric pollutants may therefore affect ecosystems as well as human activities such as transportation.
Global Warming
Global warming is the long-term increase in Earth's average surface temperature. It is closely associated with the enhanced greenhouse effect caused by increasing concentrations of greenhouse gases.
